Loft Conversion due to start in Wellington, Telford

A new loft conversion project is due to start this week in Telford, Shropshire for Buckley’s. We will be constructing a dormer loft conversion on a semi-detached house with new UPVC dormer windows to rear and side, and french doors to the rear of the dormer to allow more light and space to be added to the new addition on the house. The new loft conversion will be adding a new master bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a bespoke staircase to add more space and value to this family home.

This loft conversion constitutes as “Permitted development” so no planning was needed, even though it is having french doors with railings which most people think will need planning permission. As long as your homes “Permitted development rights” are intact these would not need permission from the local council.
