Birmingham Loft Conversion Site Visits

Loft Conversion Site Visits in Great Barr and Sutton Coldfield

Take a look at our morning of site inspections at current working loft conversions in the Birmingham Area, all of which were at different stages. It is interesting to see the different types of loft conversions being constructed at present and how varied all the styles are.

Site One -Rear Dormer Loft Conversion at Whitecrest, Great Barr, Birmingham

This conversion was in the early stages, a 28ft  rear full width dormer will be constructed here creating a spacious master bedroom and separate study area. Following the conversion we will be building a full width rear extension which is currently in Planning Permission.

Site Two – Hip to Gable Loft Conversion at Doebank Lane, Great Barr, Birmingham

This conversion was nearly completed, it was being decorated internally and just waiting for the scaffold to be taken down after some plumbing work is complete. This Hip to gable loft conversion is blending into the roofline complimenting the house design. This conversion was creating a spare room and en-suite for family visitors.

Site Three – Front Dormer Loft Conversion Extension in Elwyn Road, Sutton Coldfield

After months of Planning this front Dormer Loft Conversion in Sutton Coldfield finally got Planning Permission granted.  During our visit this conversion was in mid construction, the dormer was being built and external cladding was being fixed on to the property to match the existing house facade. This roof extension is creating an additional bedroom to the property. Once the conversion is completed, there will be a small house extension to the left of the porch, which will be extended creating a bigger study in the house.

Site Four – Rear and Side Dormers Loft Conversion in Ivy Road, Sutton Coldfield

This property in Sutton Coldfield is near completion, the loft conversion blends into the property complimenting the house. The roofer was just finishing off the EPDM rubber flat roofing system. This loft conversion will be spacious and light creating a bedroom and en-suite with a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden.
