Four Oaks Loft Conversion Starts This Week

A Loft Conversion has started this week in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. Buckley’s will be constructing a Velux Roof Light conversion creating three new bedrooms a master bathroom and a dressing room for our clients by inputting six Velux roof lights into the roof of the property allowing day natural day light into the rooms to make them more bright and spacious. This conversion will also add value to the clients property. 

This type of Loft Conversion constitutes as ‘Permitted Development’, so Planning Permission was not required for this conversion, the property itself does fall within “Four Oaks Conservation Area” but as the PD rights were still intact for this particular property and only Velux roof lights are being constructed no permission was needed for this conversion, an application was sent to Building Regulations to cover the structural build of the conversion.
