Juliet Balcony Rear Dormer Loft Conversion

This Loft Conversion in Walsall has been constructed with the design of a rear full length dormer that incorporates large French Doors creating a feature Juliet Balcony within their master bedroom. We  inserted three Velux roof lights to the sides of the roof space to flood as much light into the property as possible. This dormer loft conversion has created a large bespoke master bedroom and en-suite on to the property, we hope that our clients will enjoy their new converted loft space.

Existing and Proposed Loft Conversion Elevations of the Property

In the picture below you can see the architectural plans drawn before the construction to show the existing properties elevations and the proposed elevations in which Buckley Loft Conversions were contracted to construct.

You can view on the top line the original existing house in which there were already existing Velux roof lights to the rear of the property. The roof lights had to be removed in order to maximise the properties potential roof space which mean that a dormer was required to be built. The dormer was build under the householders Permitted Development Rights and to current Building Regulations.

Feature Ceiling Roof Design

Our clients proposed a bespoke ceiling design that they wished to have as a key feature within their bedroom. Due to the flat nature of their roof line it meant that we were able to create this rectangular ceiling feature. The clients choice of lighting sets of this bespoke ceiling design perfect and really makes this a unique Loft Conversion in Walsall.

The Juliet balcony is a popular choice today to create a beautiful feature within the bedroom and so that you can gaze upon those magnificent views out of your property. Juliet balconies also constitute within the householders ‘Permitted Development Rights’ so no need to go through all of that Planning Process!
