This tastefully designed loft conversion in Lichfield, Staffordshire has transformed this bungalow by adding two spacious bedrooms and a new bathroom. transforming the two bedroom bungalow to a four bedroom dwelling.  

Design & Planning Process

Buckley Loft Conversions surveyor visited this client on various occasions to discuss their expectations and ideas of what they wanted to achieve with their loft conversion, in their beautiful Staffordshire family home. When it came to the planning side of things a property history search was conducted by our administrators with the local council to determine whether planning permission was required for the proposed dormer, this came back all ok as the property still benefited from their Permitted development rights so planning was not needed. for more information on planning please visit our planning & construction page here. After confirming that there were no restrictions for the property Buckley’s could get to work on creating a dormer for the rear of the property to gain the appropriate head height and also allowing lots of natural light into their new bedroom and bathroom, we also inserted some Velux Roof light windows to the front of the property.
